Overview of the Dashboard

The Dashboard Generator allows you to access the Dashboard, which is available to all Florida Reporting users except state-level users (refer to About State-Level Features).

The Dashboard displays an aggregation card for each test group. Each aggregation card displays the test group name, a list of grades, the number of students who took tests in the group, the date of the test last taken, and a performance distribution bar displaying both percentages and student counts below it. If performance level data cannot be aggregated across the test group, a message displays instead of a performance distribution bar. Test group cards are sorted by date last taken.

Clicking the More info button button beside a performance distribution bar displays a legend with more information about performance levels. Performance distribution bars do not include any performance levels achieved by less than half of one percent of the student group.

If a message appears saying that there are no assessments to display, you may not have any students who have taken tests in your selected test groups in the selected time period. You can change the reporting time period. Teachers may also be able to view more students’ data by managing your classes (rosters).

To change the test groups and test reasons that appear, use the Filters panel on the left. For more information on filtering, refer to Working with Report Tables. You can also backtrack to the Dashboard Generator using the link in the path at the upper-left corner and change your test group selections there.

To view more detailed data for a particular test group on the dashboard, click the name of the group. This takes you to the Achievement on Tests report, filtered to show only that test group.

From other reports, you can return to the Dashboard by clicking Dashboard in the upper-left corner of the page.
